Should I Test For Radon?
YES!!! The only way to make sure your home is safe is to test for radon.
You should test your home if:
- you have never tested for radon before
- it has been more than 2 years since your last test
- you are buying or selling a home
- you had a radon mitigation system installed - you should test its effectiveness by a third party test
- you completed a major home renovation such as a basement finish

The Surgeon General of the United States has issued a Health Advisory warning Americans about the health risk from exposure to radon in indoor air. The EPA and the Surgeon General recommend testing all homes below the third floor for radon.
